It was minus 3 though, so I am still needing two pairs of running tights, 3 tops, 1 hat, 1 scarf, gloves and a padded gillet before setting off. I can't wait for the time when I don't need to take so long getting ready.
Hardly a soul about. I did see David, our retired paper 'boy' out on his rounds who bid me a cheery good morning, but yet again, no Mr Early or Police Car. Boo. Doesn't seem quite right really.
I did see Mr Hi-Viz-With-A-Barky-Dog on the beach though. Barky Dog was really enjoying playing in the sand at 5am. I don't think Mr Hi-Viz shared that joy, somehow.
There's still a bit of ice stubbornly holding onto some of the roads....just amazing considering we've had rain since the snowfall, but the temperatures just haven't allowed a thaw.
I have only just realised that my 80 day milestone walk falls on Christmas Day. What a way to celebrate it
