A bit later this morning as we had such a late night. They hadn't forecast snow last night but this morning's walk was in about an inch of snow with thick ice beneath.
Cars were skidding on the side roads and we could see more clouds heading in from Swanage...
Time to pick up some fresh croissants for Mr S and head back in glorious sunshine and blue skies.
It got so warm on the return leg that I had to ditch my hat, gloves and scarf into the shopping bag!
Out later for phase 2 of Christmas shopping - think we'll take the bus, the ice isn't worth the risk.
