The sound of the sea was incredible and in the darkness, I could make out the white foam rolling in towards the sandy beach.
There will be lots of surfers out later today (what on earth do they do for a living???!!)
There's a couple of property refurbishments on the clifftop and when the site men get to work, there'll be quite a bit of clearing up to do....
Don't wear a hat today folks - it won't last long!
