It was a clear morning to start off with, although as the hour went on, it became increasingly misty, which gave it a very romantic look across the sea.
I was amazed at the clarity of the stars this morning. My new latest app, Star Walk (a huge thanks to CORVUS who recommended it to me), I kept stopping and pointing my iPhone up at the sky so that I could not only see Venus rising, but I could also watch Antares - a red supergiant star in the Milky Way galaxy and the sixteenth brightest star in the night time sky. It was bright orange and quite, quite beautiful.
This morning I mixed a power walk with running, which meant I could go further. This meant I was walking past Mr Early at a different point and he shouted out to me "Good morning......am I early or is it you?" I was left laughing my head off as he sped past on his bike. If only he knew that's what I call him
Dave, our 74 year old paperboy was also up and about this morning - he wasn't happy that Jim, the owner of the newsagents was late and Dave had to wait around in the cold. I bet he'll have words later.
Last night's star count: 1 - it was disappointingly cloudy
First light comes at 06:56 this morning....hurray! We're into the 6's
And if you haven't done so yet, go check out GOOGLE today. It's distinctly nautical and celebrates Jules Verne.
